The cheating in SoT lately has ruined the game for me. I haven't logged in for weeks now because nearly every sessions I see people speed hacking.

I don't get how cheating in SoT is fun anyways but cheating SOLO just to steal a FoTD?!? Like usually they use it to carry a friend or somethin so their friend thinks they're cracked and be "impressed" or cheat with another cheater to grief in hg.. but this is extra pathetic for some reason.

This is why consoles shouldn't be forced to crossplay with pc.

Hitbo does not have the power to ban people. I really don't know why so many people think he does. He has stated multiple times on stream that he and other partners can only report from the website like everyone else, and even if he did have that power and the person here got banned it wouldn't matter at all because he can just make a new account and continue to cheat. Great video though glad to see you back on the seas Mason.

I remember before that i took a 3 month hiatus from console Sot for school reasons than coming back greeted from my first game within the first hour with a very very blatantly obvious keg teleporting cheater that sunk my solo sloop, FeelsBadMan

i had a hacker just like this last night, teleporting to my ship in hourglass and turning invisible as soon as it try to kill him

Did 6 FoTD last night and each one took 6-8 mins we were flyin thorough those bad boys

I recently encountered my first cheater also, they had teleport hacks possibly flying and could also one shot sword us whilst being no where near us

Someone else probably already pointed this out, but you can see him unload your cannons in this video. Watch the cannon on the left from 12:05--12:20. You can hear the exact moment he steals it.

I wouldnt have picked HITBO to deal with a cheater LOL, I love hitbo but he's more of a swabbie killer and an excellent rat, but you guys got lucky this was as you said the WORST cheater I've ever seen hahaha

I just returned to the game for the first time since launch and tried hourglass and spawned in and within 10 seconds a guy was on my ship and they has stupid accurate aim with the cannons but other than that im having a blast with the game.

I came across my first cheater on ps5 hour glass. He shot me, i continuously lost health until i died. I even threw water on myself incase it was fire damage, after i died it stopped. Cheating just ruins the game (any game).

The brown recluse was also a cheater. Victory on both ends. Get squished nubs

at roughly 2 minutes 48/49 they say he is swimming over, they shouldn't have been able to see that without cheats honestly

I've run into a handful of cheaters. people legit used to try to gaslight me "cheaters can't teleport" showing them a clip of my ship being more then 40 feet ahead of this cheater sloop chasing me but somehow the same guy keeps dropping from the crow's nest or climbing the ladders at record times after I kill him. just to be told on mass "he was just tucking" by people even in the sot discord

As much as I hate how clunky console games feel to play sometimes, I'll always be glad I don't run into cheaters. I wouldn't have had the patience you had to keep trying to play the session out, I would've just left. On a side note, I got my first little FoTD Athena's heist last night! Was just one, but I'm proud of it.

With the invisible cheaters. They can’t go invis below deck. So if you play lower deck then you can actually kill them. But you can’t go kill them while they’re invisible.

The lift was great that happens to me and my friend al the time we just blame it on panic selling
